My Coupon Trip: Great Deals this Week!

So, I usually go shopping (or on a coupon trip as I call it) about once a week.  I don't live close to many of the stores that have great deals, so I make it worth my while when I drive 30+ minutes, burning gas the whole way.  I hit as many stores as I can.  (It just ain't worth it to me to drive a long way to save a buck or two or to grab one deal.  (I want to save ALL the bucks. Ever!)

This week I hit (so far): Walmart, Target, Kroger, CVS, and Ingles

So, I thought I'd share with y'all some of the deals I got so you can grab some too.  (Or just gawk at the sweet insanity. haha)

So I will just say that these are just some of the deals I got.  Be sure to check the other blogs out there and the sales papers for a lot more.  I am just going to do a small list of some of the stuff I got.  (For time saving purposes, and I might be just a bit, teeny tiny bit, lazy to post a ton of separate posts.)

CVS brand Oral Care - Spend $10, get 4 ECBs (limit 2)
 - This was a great sale for me.  My dad needed some denture tablets and I couldn't find them on sale anywhere.  So I was able to get him two giant boxes and a bunch of toothbrushes for super cheap.

CVS brand beauty Items - Spend $20, get 10 ECBs (limit 1)
 - This sale covered so many product categories.  I was able to get some aquaphor equivalent lotion, cotton balls, nail polish remover, toner, pore strips, and a bunch of other random beauty tools that never go on sale.  Be sure to check on MyWeeklyAd on CVS.com for the giant list of products included in this.

Note: There is also a $3/3 Vidal Sassoon [Shampoo, Conditioner, or Styler] from the same newspaper insert (1/26 P&G) as the $.50 coupon.  It would be a great way to get a lot of these for under a buck each. I just bought a couple because all the other ones were for color-treated hair.  So, I thought it would be better to save those for others.  :)

Ingles does have limits to how many coupons they will double in a transaction. (Check out their policy HERE)

Note: There have been some blogs saying that the $2 off Purina ONE Beyond coupon ($2 off any bag, any size) wouldn't work on the 1-lb boxes.  So, I bought one to see if the Kroger E-CPN (of the same value and restrictions) that I had loaded would take.  And...it did! So y'all know I went back and got even more with my printables I had with me.  I even went to Walmart and got some and it took there too no problems.  So, try it.  Your store may take it too.  It's a great deal.  (The stuff is usually over $10 for 3-lbs!)

Note: I did see these cheaper ($2.98) at one of the stores today.  It may have been Target, but I'm not positive.  So keep an eye out, Nutella lovers.
