Parade Mag Coupons
none this week!
Note: Sorry this is a bit late today guys. I woke up and got on my ancient laptop (it's 10 years old and still kicking!) only to find drama in Internet land. One of my friends, a fellow couponer, sent me a message to let me know that a popular coupon site had stole some of my content. (I say stole they because they didn't provide a link back to me or anything.)
I knew this would happen soon after I started back up this blog. It was one of the reasons I ended it in the first place a couple of years ago.
So, I privately message the super popular couponing site, and I get about what you would expect in response.
The funny thing is, about an hour after this happened: Their post title changed, all their syntax got restructured, etc. Hmmm...remember what I have hinted at about the shady side of the online couponing community. I only asked them to link back to me, and it would be all good. (It would be great free publicity for me honestly)
Oh well, I'm honestly surprised they gave a crap at all. I don't advertise my blog or force people to follow any of my pages for content. So, my readership is not that big nor am I influential in the least. Do more people read this than I know? Haha! Kind of flattering in a way.
And no, I won't be contacting them anymore, or naming them, unless they just keep stealing from me or something similar. The last thing I need is all their followers to descend on me with the barrage of dumb excuses to excuse their internet idols' shady behavior.
