Bargain Trip: Dollar Tree Haul

I went into dollar tree, because my friend told me that they had a lot of nail art pens the other day.  Somehow I walked out with no nail art pens and lots of snacks, food, tea, and other stuff.

Never know what you are going to go home with after going to Dollar Tree:

I have to start paying more attention to the food section from now on:

True Lemon  100% Natural Crystallized Lemon (12 pkts)
I have been checking out other people's dollar tree hauls lately, and everyone has been saying how good this stuff is.  So, I'm excited to try it out.

TEA All Natural Peppermint Tea (30 bags)
I go through tea (bagged and loose leaf) like crazy, especially hot herbal and green teas.  I have already gone through a different box of dollar tree peppermint tea, and it was good.  So, hopefully this one will be too.

The Queen's Choice Tea Strawberry & Raspberry Fruit Tea (12 pyramid bags)
The Queen's Choice Tea Blueberry Green Tea (12 pyramid bags)
Again, I go through tea like crazy.  I thought these looked so nice and fancy.  And...they are pyramid bags!  Yes!  I hope this stuff tastes as good as it looks.

LuvYu Light Soy Sauce with Less Sodium (10oz)
I was so excited to find a low sodium soy sauce for only a $1.  Great deal in my mind!

Casa Mia 100% Grated Parmesan Topping (8oz)
These were flying off the shelves!  I'm so glad I was able to get one.

GreenBrier Farms Salted Dry Roasted Peanuts (7.5oz)
Wow, what a deal on peanuts!  The only thing that would have made these even better is if they had some unsalted.  These were also going fast like I literally picked up a couple, went a few aisles over, came back to get more, and they were gone.

Rice Cracker Snack Mix (6oz)
I love this type of stuff.  When I was studying overseas, I ate this type of stuff all day long.  It's a pretty decently sized bag from which you could get several snackings.

Lance Salted Peanuts .8oz bags (5pk)

Lance Captain's Wafers Cream Cheese & Chives 4 cracker packs (6pk)
Lance Nip Chee Cheedar Cheese 4 cracker packs (6pk)
They also had the dessert cookie flavored ones and peanut butter on cheese crackers (those didn't make it home in one piece, oops).

Fiesta Foods Spinach & Artichoke Dip Mix (2 pkts, each pkts makes 2 cups)
I had some plain greek yogurt at the house that needed using.  So, I figured that this was cheaper than buying the Knorr veggie mix.  What I am really impressed with is the ingredients.  It's all natural!  No weird chemicals is always a plus in my book.

The box calls for sour cream, but I used plain greek yogurt and let it set it in the fridge over night.  And...it was pretty good.  I was surprised!  Though, I will say that I did add more seasoning than it called for, but I like really flavorful dishes.  Overall, it was very worth a dollar.

I also picked up a few non-food items:

Enregin Cuticle Oil
This is another one of those products that I see people praise all the time.  I already use a cuticle oil in my nail care routine daily, but it costs quite a bit more than a buck.  So, I'm really hoping that this lives up to the hype.  Now, if I can only find the eye cream from this brand that everyone has been recommending as well.

Natural White Sensitive Whitening Toothpaste
I bought this the last time I went to dollar tree, but I gave away the other one to someone who really wanted to try it.  So, I was happy that they still had some.

LA's Totally Awesome Power Oxygen Based Cleaner (16oz)
We needed some Oxy Clean, but there just weren't any sales or coupons decent enough to bring  the price down to an acceptable level for me.  So, for a dollar, I thought I'd give this stuff a shot.  I had never seen it in my dollar tree before.

LA's Totally Awesome All Purpose Concentrated Cleaner, Degreaser, and Spot Remover (20oz)
This stuff sells out so fast at all my local Dollar Trees.  I was so happy to score one.  When I used to work for a house cleaning service, a million-and-a-half years ago, this was one of the cleaners our particular team used.  It's amazing, or totally awesome rather, for a ton of different messes and stains.  It is concentrated, though.  So, I need to find another spray bottle to split between this one.

LA's Totally Awesome Daily Shower Cleaner (32 fl oz)
I had never seen this at my dollar tree before.  I hope it works, because a buck for this stuff is awesome sauce.

Foam Boards (not pictured)
I just thought I would mention this even thought I forgot to take a picture before I sliced into the sheets.  (I made some nail polish racks, yay!)  If you do any DIYs that require foam board, my dollar tree had both white and black sheets.  They were 3/16" thick which is the same thickness as the elmer's ones at Walmart.  The Elmer's ones at Walmart are $1.77 (for the white) and $2.98 (for the colored ones).  So, this is a much better deal.

The foam boards at my dollar tree did seem to have varying thicknesses.  I picked the thicker ones and then matched them up with an Elmer's one I had when I got home.
